Missing Perfection!!!
Well, it'll soon be one month since our annual trip to OBX with the dogs. Though each trip brings new memories and experiences, finding you and "Dawn's Kitchen" was more like striking it rich. Your friends & family are soooo lucky.
Not only did we find a great spot for a really wonderful lunch ( best hamburgers..yum), but we found a place worthy of Zagat ratings. In fact, I even visited their website and attempted to notify them of our find. We'd love to be selfish and keep you a secret, but the world would miss out on a true gastronomic experience. Who needs the fancy name, china dishes, cloth napkins and candlelight, It's all about the food... the rest you can create at home.
Sadly we only found you our last evening there, as we would liked to try everything on the menu. Your stuffed chicken breast, veal parm... and oh that balsamic dressing were to die for.
Happily, we've booked next year and have already discussed coming up with a travel plan that will get us there in time to pick up dinner coming in the first night. Can't wait, but we'll just have to. Guess we'll be leaving at 3:00am :)
